Very pleased to have a paper accepted to CHI 2017 – “m-Health for Maternal Mental Health: Everyday wisdom in Ethical Design” – which will be presented in Denver in May 2017.
It’s about designing an app for detecting and reporting on depression during pregnancy and offers an approach to using applied phronesis (from Aristotelian virtue ethics) to address the ethical questions that arise during the design process for mobile health (mHealth) applications.
Great to work with Kevin Doherty and Gavin Doherty @ Computer Science TCD on such an interesting and important collaborative project along with the School of Public Health at Imperial College London.
